The Pool Extraction Boards (PXB) is a Class 1 Medical Device with an expected life span of 10 years*.

Ferno UK recommends that for any Pool Extraction Boards (PXB) that are 5-years of age, after the initial purchase, may require the velcro to be replaced to help prolong the lifespan of the product. 

*The manufacturer guidance is dependent upon usage, general wear and tear, the humidity conditions of where the boards are stored, chemicals they come in to contact with etc. It is the responsibility of the operator to ensure that they carry out checks on the board to determine the condition. 

There are two Velcro Replacement Service options available through Ferno UK, this service is to replace the velcro that is glued onto the PXB Board, used for attaching the head blocks during a rescue.

1. Replacement of Velcro on PXB Board (only)

Price £160.00 (Ex VAT) 
Based on collection from Mainland GB (England, Scotland & Wales)*

This option includes the collection, replacement of velcro and return of the PXB board.

Please note, you would be responsible for ensuring the board is suitably and securely packaged prior to arranging the collection via the courier service (TNT/Fed Ex).

2. Replacement of Velcro on PXB Board (including a Loan Board)

Price £210.00 (Ex VAT)
Based on collection from Mainland GB (England, Scotland & Wales)*

This option includes the provision of a loan board, the collection, replacement of velcro and return of your PXB board, followed finally by the collection of the loan board.

When selecting this option you will be able to use the box and packaging which the loan board arrives in, to then package your board for collection. You will also be able to use the same box and packaging which your board is returned in to then repackage the loan board for final collection.
